After days of rain, 3 dams release water

Three major dams have started to release water before reaching their spilling level,
the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Sunday.

Pagasa hydrologist Richard Orendain told The Manila Times that one gate of Ipo Dam was opened at past 6 a.m. Sunday after reaching its normal high water level (NHWL) of 101 meters.
