Typhoon 'Hanna' intensifies as enhanced southwest monsoon dumps rain in parts of PH

Typhoon Hanna slightly intensified as it sped west-northwestward toward the sea of east Taiwan, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), said.

In its 11 a.m. bulletin, Typhoon Hanna was estimated at 455 kilometers east- northeast of Itbayat, Batanes.
