SEN. Christopher Lawrence "Bong" Go on Friday thanked President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for signing into law Republic Act (RA) 11959, also known as the "Regional Specialty Centers Act," which he co-authored and pushed being the principal sponsor.
According to Go, who chairs the Senate Committee on Health and Demography, this new legislation is a huge stride towards bringing advanced medical care closer to Filipinos, particularly those residing in underserved rural areas.
