Carlik Jones impressed by Abando's defense

High-scoring guard Carlik Jones gave the ultimate compliment to Gilas Pilipinas and energetic wingman Rhenz Abando following South Sudan's 87-68 win over the host team in their 2023 FIBA World Cup classification round on Thursday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

The six-foot South Sudanese admitted playing against the Filipinos was not easy considering the energy they drew from the home crowd that came to cheer for the Philippines at the Big Dome.
