(UPDATE) JUSTICE Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla has ordered the suspension of the implementation of the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking's (IACAT) revised guidelines for outbound Filipino travelers following concerns raised by senators and to "address the importance of transparency and public consultation."
In a statement issued on Thursday, the Department of Justice (DoJ) said Remulla "deemed it necessary to thoroughly clarify the issues surrounding the revised guidelines to both the senators and the public."
