Lawmaker asks CHR to probe series of killings

LEGAZPI CITY: Rep. Fernando Cabredo of Albay's third district has appealed to the Commission on Human Rights to investigate the series of killings that he said have remained unresolved up to this day.

Cabredo made the appeal after an incumbent village chieftain, identified as Alex Enriquez Repato, 51, of Barangay San Jose in Libon town, was shot dead in front of his home by unidentified assailants.
