A VILLAGE chairman was shot dead by two unidentified assailants while having lunch with companions on Tuesday, shortly after filing his certificate of candidacy at the Commission on Elections office in Midsayap town, North Cotabato.
The victim, identified as Haron Dimalanis, 40, of Barangay Malingao, was declared dead on arrival at the hospital.
