BACOLOD CITY: A state of calamity here and in Bago City is set to be declared as the majority of their villages are still affected by widespread flooding caused by heavy rains spawned by the southwest monsoon and enhanced by Typhoon "Goring."
Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez said on Wednesday that he was waiting for the resolutions from the affected villages declaring states of calamity in their areas.
