THE Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) announced on Wednesday that it has granted permits to a total of 4,202 "four-wheeled units" or school service vehicles nationwide. Of the number, 3,090 were issued to those in the National Capital Region (NCR).
LTFRB Chairman Teofilo Guadiz 3rd said there are protocols in place for school transport services that include proper markings, seat belts, fire extinguishers, first-aid kits, and Stop-and-Go signs for student drop-offs.
