Comelec suspends work, including filing, receiving of CoCs

THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) suspended work in all its offices in the National Capital Region (NCR) on Thursday, August 31, due to heavy monsoon rains enhanced by Super Typhoon 'Goring' and Severe Tropical Storm 'Hanna.'

The Comelec also announced that the filing and reception of Certificates of Candidacy (CoC) in NCR is likewise suspended.
