Benson Boone delivers compelling Manila performance

Twenty-one-year-old Benson Boone performed for his Filipino fans for the first time on August 5 at the Venice Piazza in McKinley Hill. The singer-songwriter first received recognition when he joined a TikTok challenge that gained five million views. Soon after, he auditioned for "American Idol" but quickly decided to pursue music further as an artist instead of one of the contestants.

To date, the artist is close to reaching four million TikTok followers and more than 12 million monthly Spotify listeners. Furthermore, he acquired platinum certifications for his songs "Ghost Town" and "In The Stars," both of which he co-wrote – enough proof that he is well on his way as one of the most promising artists of his generation.
