Obiena shares Covid battle prior to Worlds

(UPDATE) FILIPINO Olympian pole vaulter Ernest John 'EJ' Obiena said he had battled Covid-19 in Italy two weeks before taking the stage at the World Athletics Championships in Hungary.

In a post on his social media handles on Sunday with an accompanying video message, Obiena said it was a challenge.
