DSWD sends relief aid in Visayas, Mindanao

DEPARTMENT of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rexlon 'Rex' Gatchalian on Tuesday ordered the Disaster Response and Management Group (DRMG) to immediately send thousands of food packs to flood-affected communities in the Visayas and Mindanao.

DRMG assistant secretary Marlon Alagao informed Gatchalian that he is already working with the Visayas Disaster Resource Center (VDRC) to expedite the distribution of family food packs (FFPs) to Western Visayas, Eastern Visayas and Northern Mindanao.
