THE peso fell against the dollar, but the stock market rebounded back to the 6,200 level as Philippine financial markets reopened on Tuesday following a holiday break.
The currency weakened by 18 centavos to P56.75 versus the greenback while the benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index added 64.39 points, or 1.05 percent, to end the day at 6,225.00.
