THE Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) on Tuesday said it surpassed its collection target for July, having taken in a total of P273.134 billion net of tax refunds.
The amount, it said in a statement, was 5.09 percent or P13.224 billion higher than targeted and also 38.37 percent or P75.744 billion more compared to collections a year earlier.
