THE loss to Angola undoubtedly was a bitter pill to swallow for Gilas Pilipinas. But young center Kai Sotto chose to dwell on the positives as the Philippines tries to pick up the pieces from its shattered confidence on Sunday night.
Gilas wasted an 11-point lead in the second period, committing turnovers and suffering from poor shooting from three-point zone, thus allowing Angola to score an 80-70 come-from-behind win in their 2023 FIBA World Cup group stage game.
