SEVERAL provinces suspended classes in all levels on Tuesday as floods from rains spawned by Typhoon "Goring" (international name: Saola) have rendered roads and bridges unpassable.

Cagayan Gov. Manuel Maramba announced the suspension of classes as early as Monday afternoon upon the recommendation of the Cagayan Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council. Cagayan is under Signal No. 2 as of posting time.
