INFLATION could snap a downtrend this month given higher oil prices and the impact of recent typhoons on agriculture, an economist said on Monday.
Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. chief economist Michael Ricafort forecast an August inflation result of 5 percent, rising from July's 16-month low of 4.7 percent.
