THE tropical storm outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) will likely enter the country on Thursday and will be named "Hanna," the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Monday.

Weather specialist Obet Badrina told The Manila Times that the tropical storm named 'Haikui' (international name) was last spotted at 2,205 kilometers east of Northern Luzon while moving west-southwestward slowly.
