The Film Academy of the Philippines (FAP) on Saturday night recognized outstanding performances and contributions to the industry during the 39th Luna Awards held at the Quezon City Sports Club.

The ceremony was held after a two-year hiatus, marking a triumphant resurgence of local cinema following the Covid-19 pandemic. Serving as the accredited local counterpart to the esteemed Academy Awards (also known as The Oscars), FAP was established through Executive Order 640-A in 1981.
