PLAYING in front of a record crowd of 38,115 fans in his FIBA World Cup debut, Jordan Clarkson did all he could for the home team Philippines against the Karl-Anthony Towns-led Dominican Republic.
Clarkson poured 28 points, seven rebounds and seven assists but his efforts went down the drain as the Dominicans escaped with an 87-81 triumph at the Philippine Arena.
