THE Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) in Isabela has partnered with the City of Ilagan government and the Armed Forces of the Philippines to help the small-scale sugar cane planters and the former rebels.
Cagayan Valley DoLE supervising labor and employment officer Froctoso Agustin said the program aims to improve the financial situation of the members of Sitio Lagis Farmers and Fisherfolks Association (SLFFA), and enhance existing livelihood projects while increasing their capacity for sugar cane processing.
