THE Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) field office 5 (FO-5) in the Bicol Region has distributed the fifth wave of food packs to local government units (LGUs) in order to give continuing humanitarian help to residents impacted by the Mayon unrest.

"A total of 33,000 family food packs (FFPs), which will ensure adequate food supply to the affected families from August 26 to September 9, have been distributed by our FO-5 to the different LGUs in the region," DSWD Assistant Secretary Romel Lopez said on Saturday.
