Signal No. 1 up over 3 North Luzon areas

SIGNAL No. 1 has been hoisted over at least three provinces in Northern Luzon as Tropical Storm Goring slightly intensifies while moving slowly on its track, state weather bureau Pagasa said Friday.

Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) No. 1 was up over Batanes; the eastern portion of the Babuyan Islands (Babuyan Island and Camiguin Island); the eastern portion of mainland Cagayan (Santa Ana, Gonzaga, Lal-Lo, Gattaran, Baggao and Peñablanca); and the northeastern portion of Isabela (Maconacon, Divilacan and Palanan) in Luzon.
