Diokno discusses funding methods with Asean ministers

'We acknowledge the importance of fostering close cooperation between finance and health authorities to enhance the region's readiness in addressing public health emergencies,' Diokno said in his speech at the Asean Finance and Health Ministers Meeting (AFHMM) and the Asean High-Level Dialogue on Promoting Sustainable Infrastructure Development on Thursday.
Diokno was the Philippine representative at the AFHMM meeting, where Asean finance and health ministers discussed the Asian Development Bank's study on the financial structure for enhancing post-Covid-19 pandemic readiness (PPR) in Southeast Asia.
