A COMMUNITY dengue early warning system, also known as C-DEWS, was the highlight of the recently held Handa Pilipinas Exposition on Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Luzon Leg at the World Trade Center.
This project, which was funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DoST) Philippine Council for Health Research and Development, aims to combat dengue using deep learning technology to identify mosquito eggs on a special glass with a mosquito attractor.
