CHOT Reyes admitted that coming up with the Gilas Pilipinas final 12 was extremely 'difficult,' noting that dropping Bobby Ray Parks, Calvin Oftana, Thirdy Ravena and Chris Newsome from the final roster were what he considered as the 'deepest cut.' 'I like to call it the deepest cut. Really difficult,' Reyes said matter-of-factly, when asked how he arrived at the Gilas final 12 during the pre-FIBA World Cup press conference on Thursday.

'Some guys we had to cut were there from day one. I was very subdued after practice because I told them the coaching staff is about to make a very tough decision but it falls on me to deliver the news and the way I like to do it is that I called the players themselves,' he said.
