High palay prices benefiting farmers

High prices of dry palay (unmilled rice) are benefiting local farmers, the Philippine Rice Research Institute (PhilRice) said.

Based on PhilRice-Philippine Rice Information System (Prism) data, palay prices nationwide have risen to as high as P25 per kilo (kg).
