TOYOTA Motor Corp. President Akio Toyoda announced the return of the Toyota Tamaraw — a popular multi-purpose vehicle first produced in the country in December 1976 — to the local market in time for the 35th-anniversary celebration of Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) on Monday.
The vehicle was named after the tamaraw or Mindoro dwarf buffalo (Bubalus mindorensis).
