Reserve requirement cut likely in Q4 – HSBC

THE Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) could cut bank reserve requirements later this year, HSBC Global Research said on Wednesday.

'We expect the BSP to cut its RRR (reserve requirement ratio) further by 100 basis points to 8.5 percent in the fourth quarter of 2023,' it said in a report.
