THE stock market fell to a nine-month low on Wednesday, and the peso again closed down against the dollar amid fears that 2023 economic growth could fall below target.
The benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange index (PSEi) dropped below the 6,200 support level, shedding 2.76 points, or 0.53 percent, to 6,179.63 — the lowest since Nov. 10, 2022's 6,167.57.
