Chan, David like Gilas WC chances

(UPDATE) WITH the huge crowd behind Gilas, former national players Jeff Chan and Gary David liked the Philippine team's chances of finishing as the best performing team in Asia, which could earn the country a spot in the 2023 Paris Olympics.

Chan and David were both members of the Gilas squad that defeated Korea in a memorable semifinal clash in the 2013 FIBA Asia Cup held in Manila, en route to sending the Philippines back to the FIBA World Cup for the first time since 1978.
