STA. ROSA, Laguna: President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday called Toyota Motors Philippines Corp. (TMP) an "important partner" in the development of the country as the company marked its 35th anniversary.

Marcos graced the event at the Toyota Special Economic Zone here, where he toured the automotive manufacturing plant of TMP as well as the manual transmission plant of Toyota Aisin Philippines.
