THE Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) welcomed the commitment of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) to strengthen economic relations through supporting the country's micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

Trade and Industry Secretary Alfredo Pascual on Monday met with HKSAR Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Algernon Yau Ying-wah during the 7th Asean Economic Ministers in Semarang, Indonesia and discussed economic and technical cooperation projects for the advancement of the country's MSMEs through Asean-Hong Kong Free Trade Agreement (AHKFTA).
