THE Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Tuesday that it has spotted a low pressure area (LPA) off Cagayan and a tropical depression outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
In a 4 p.m. weather forecast, Pagasa said the LPA was estimated at 665 kilometers east of Aparri, also in the same province.
