Cavitex implements new toll rates from August 21

THE Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) has approved the 2017 periodic toll petition put forth by Cavitex Infrastructure Corp. (CIC) and the Philippine Reclamation Authority (PRA). The petition entails toll rate adjustments for the 14-kilometer Manila-Cavite Expressway (Cavitex), a joint venture project between the two entities.

In accordance with the toll operation agreement between TRB, CIC and PRA, the Cavitex toll rates can be periodically adjusted every three years. Acting upon this provision, CIC and PRA submitted their petition for approval of periodic toll rate adjustment for R-1 Expressway (Seaside to Zapote) and R-1 Expressway Extension, Segment 4 (Zapote to Kawit) to TRB in 2017.
