IN the wake of the Bugatti Chiron's resounding success and its subsequent sold-out status, a select few units remain, marking the conclusion of a momentous chapter in the brand's storied history. Among these limited units, the Chiron Super Sport Golden Era stands as an extraordinary collaborative masterpiece that unfolded over the course of two years, representing one of Bugatti's most intricate and audacious undertakings.
Named the Chiron Super Sport Golden Era, this opulent coupe emerged through the partnership of Bugatti and an undisclosed collector who played a pivotal role in steering this ambitious project. The patron's driving force was the desire to pay homage to Bugatti's rich heritage, and this vision found its realization through a design team led by Achim Anscheidt until his retirement in July 2023. The result was an exclusive livery adorned with 45 meticulously crafted sketches, depicting automobiles, aircraft, symbols and even architectural landmarks from Bugatti's illustrious past. However, the distinguishing element was the execution – each of these intricate sketches was painstakingly hand-drawn onto the surface of the car.
