THE Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) on Friday reported having earned P61 billion in the first half (H1) of the year, nearly 2,000 percent more than the P3.0 billion posted a year earlier.

"Our first half performance shows enhanced revenue generation and operational efficiencies, marked by growth in key business areas, including general insurance, real estate and investments," GSIS President and General Manager Wick Veloso said in a press briefing.
