MANILA Jockey Club Inc. (MJC) on Friday said its board had approved a plan to change the company's name and main purpose after a decision not to renew its racing license and instead venture into the real estate business.
The board, in a meeting on Thursday, approved changes to the firm's articles of incorporation with respect to the corporate name and primary purpose, the firm said in a disclosure.
