Mayon continues to spew lava in 'gentle, quiet manner' but danger zone stays — Phivolcs

MAYON Volcano continues to spew lava although in a 'gentle and quiet manner,' close to three months after it erupted, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said on Friday.

Dr. Teresito 'Toto' Bacolcol said that Mayon's current seismic activity could be likened to its 2014 effusive eruption that also lasted for three months before calming down.
