Marcos seeks deeper trade, security ties with Japan

PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. pushed for deeper relations with Japan in trade and investment and security and defense during a recent meeting with Komeito Party Chief Representative Yamaguchi Natsuo.

'In the past, it could be said that the largest part of our interaction between our two countries was always in terms of trade, in terms of development, in terms of ODA (Official Development Assistance),' Marcos said during Natsuo's courtesy visit to Malacañang late Wednesday afternoon.
