Driver's license card production on hold

THE Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 15 issued a temporary restraining order stopping the production of plastic driver's license card issued by the Land Transportation Office (LTO) after AllCard Inc. filed a complaint against Banner Plasticard for unfair bidding.

AllCard alleged that it was disqualified from bidding despite offering the lowest bid of P176.8 million, which was well below the P240 million approved budget for the licenses.
