DepEd to supervise schools subject of Makati-Taguig dispute

THE Department of Education said that it would temporarily supervise the management and administration of 14 schools affected by the border issue between the cities of Makati and Taguig.

In a department order issued by Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte, the following schools will be under DepEd's direct supervision: Makati Science High School, Comembo Elementary School, Rizal Elementary School, Pembo Elementary School, Benigno "Ninoy" S. Aquino High School, Tibagan High School, Fort Bonifacio Elementary and High Schools, Pitogo Elementary and High Schools, Cembo Elementary School, East Rembo Elementary School, West Rembo Elementary School, and South Cembo Elementary School.
