Kyiv recaptures east Ukraine village

KYIV: Ukraine said on Wednesday that its forces had liberated the village of Urozhaine in the industrial Donetsk region as part of a grinding push to wrest territory from Russian forces along the country's southern front.

'Urozhaine was liberated. Our defenders are entrenched at the outskirts. The offensive continues,' Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Malyar announced on social media.
