Faulty wiring may have caused school fire – BFP

BACOLOD CITY: The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) is looking at faulty electrical wiring as the possible cause of the fire that gutted the main building of Colegio de Sta. Rita in San Carlos City, Negros Occidental, on Monday evening.

Chief Inspector Rufino Tañedo, city fire marshal, said they have submitted a spot report to the BFP provincial headquarters and the evidence they gathered to the arson laboratory at their national office for further investigation to determine the real cause of the fire.
