THE chief of police of Navotas City and 22 other policemen were ordered relieved from their posts over the slaying of 17-year-old Jerhode "Jemboy" Baltazar in a bungled operation last week.
National Capital Region Police Office head BGen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. ordered the relief of Navotas City Police chief Col. Allan Umipig, Cpt. Joseph Arabejo, Cpt. Mark Joseph Carpio, Cpt. Luisito dela Cruz, Cpt. Luis Rufo and Aurelio Galvez, chief clerk of the Navotas City Police Station.
