GMA-7, ABS-CBN post weaker results

BROADCAST firms GMA Network Inc. and ABS-CBN Corp. both saw weaker first-half results compared to a year earlier due to the absence of election-related advertising.

Gozon-led GMA-7 on Monday reported a net income after tax of P1.18 billion for the January to June period, down from P4.02 billion a year earlier.
