Maple Leafs prospect Amirov dies — agent

Toronto Maple Leafs 2020 first round draft pick Rodion Amirov has died on Monday, his agent, Dan Milstein, confirmed. He was only 21 years old.

Amirov, who was drafted 15th overall by the Leafs in 2020, was fighting a brain tumor that he was diagnosed with last year.
