APPROVED foreign investments (FI) totaled P59.09 billion in the second quarter, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported on Tuesday, up 27.8 percent from the P46.26 billion recorded a year earlier.
The recorded pledges, the PSA said, collated approvals by investment promotion agencies, such as the Board of Investments (BoI), BoI-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao, Clark Development Corp., Clark International Airport Corp., Philippine Economic Zone Authority, and Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority.
