MerryMart net income climbs 25%

RETAILER MerryMart Consumer Corp. on Tuesday reported a first-half net income of P40.24 million, up 24.8 percent from P32.25 million a year earlier.

Revenues grew by 29 percent to 3.7 billion from P2.87 billion due to an increase in merchandise sales that accounted for 98.2 percent of total revenues.
